Sir Raymond Winters;

Carrying on the Legacy of Strength and Purpose

Not many people in their sixties continue to surf or compete in martial arts tournaments. But for Sir Raymond Winters, it is simply part of how he lives.

Behind his strength and balance lies something deeper: the legacy of his father, Sir Jason Winters.

As the president of Jason Winters International Inc., Raymond carries forward what he and his father built together. Yet more than leading the company, he lives its philosophy each day. From his morning cup of tea to his active, health-focused lifestyle, he lives by a simple belief: wellness is not something you purchase, but a way of living—how you move, think, and live each day.

Finding Strength in Motion

After his father's passing, Raymond felt a deep emptiness. During this difficult time, he discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), a martial art that demands strategy, focus, and resilience.

Starting in his mid-40s, he wondered if he might be too old to begin. Yet two decades later, Raymond is still training and competing at a global level. He describes Jiu-Jitsu as a reflection for life itself:

"You learn to stay calm, plan ahead, and never make the same mistake twice."

The discipline and patience he developed on the mat have shaped the way he leads his business and faces life's challenges. Over the years, Raymond has earned Black Belts in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo under world-renowned master Sérgio Penha.

His achievements include winning the Pan-American Games in 2012, placing third at the World Master Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship, and taking first place in the Open Expert Division at NAGA. He credits his success to dedication, perseverance, and, always, his daily cup of Classic Blend Tea.

A Life Shaped by Experience

Before stepping into his father's role, Sir Raymond Winters had already lived a life defined by discipline and service. He studied in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and England, gaining a broad perspective on people, culture, and purpose.

He also served in the Canadian Armed Forces, completing Basic Training at CFTB Cornwallis and later joining the Armored Regiment at Sarcee Barracks in Calgary, Alberta.

This foundation of structure, integrity, and global experience continues to guide him today, both in business and in life. It also reflects the enduring values of courage, compassion, and service that he learned from his father.

A Knight and a Son's Tribute

Six months after his father's passing, Raymond received a letter. It informed him that he had been nominated for knighthood into the Order of St. John, a nomination his father had made before his death.

In 2010, Raymond was knighted in Casa Bernard, Malta, joining the ranks of Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, and his own father, Sir Jason Winters. It was both an honor and a deeply personal reminder that his father's faith in him lived on.

Living with Purpose

Today, Sir Raymond Winters continues to live life with energy and purpose; surfing, practicing yoga, lifting weights, and teaching martial arts. As President of Jason Winters International, he ensures that every product reflects the same care, integrity, and natural quality his father believed in.

He believes that good health begins with daily choices: what we eat, how we move, what we think, and how we care for ourselves.

"A strong immune system is the cornerstone of good health and a long life," he often says. "That's why we keep offering the best herbs, the best quality, and the best service."

His father created Jason Winters Tea out of a belief in nature's healing power. Raymond carries that legacy forward: to live well, stay strong, and help others do the same.
